Setbacks:
o In early 2009, I suffered a leg injury which affected my performance in school and socially as I became more reserved due to concerns over my familys ability to finance my medical expenses. I had never had an injury of such magnitude before and wasnt sure how to cope with the circumstances.
o My Junior I began working more hours than I usually did in order to help my family due to our financial situation. I would come home late some nights and lack efficient study time but working gave me real world experience by teaching me how to cope with having more responsibility riding on my shoulders.</p>
