Can I get into U of M?

<p>I’m a Junior at an in-state high school. I have a 3.76 unweighted, and a 29 ACT. I have taken/am taking AP Government, AP Biology, AP Psych, honors mod LIT, chemistry, and Pre-Calc, along with other requirements. </p>

Coaching local cheer team (2 years, over 220 hours of unpaid service)
National Honor Society
Tennis (4 years & captain)
cheerleading (2 years)

Student Council
Food Banks
Private tutoring
Elementary work (set-up study program to help elementary students who struggle with reading & math</p>

<p>Also, my brother and dad went to U of M so i have Alumni.</p>

<p>Let me know what your opinion is if you think i can get in
Probably into LSA and then transfer into education later!

<p>Short answer: Yes, definitely.
Long answer: This was essentially my resume in high school (I’m in-state as well). The fact that your brother and dad also went hear doesn’t mean anything though, this is a state school. The reason they ask you that on your app though is so that they can organize their alumni directories. But can’t you apply to the Education School directly? On your entrance essays talk about your teaching experiences since that’s your eventual goal.</p>
