Can I get into UCI from OCC?

<p>Right now I’m at OCC and trying to major in civil engineering.
Here are my courses and grades so far:</p>

<p>Fall 2007
English 99: A
Math 180: A
ART 100: A
PScyH 100: B</p>

<p>Spring: 2008
English 100:B
Math 185: A
ARt 101: B
Physics 185: C</p>

<p>Summer 2008 (in progress)
CAD
English 101</p>

<p>Does anyone think I can transfer to UCI?</p>

<p>Talk to your CC counselor, you still need to finish a good amount of transferable units to determine if you can or cannot transfer. if you achieve at least a 3.5 overall gpa, i say your shots are in your favor.</p>

<p>sure you can, but better bring up the science grades for engineering. I assume you’ll take Chem this fall?</p>

<p>so you guyz think i should bring it up to a 3.5? im trying to get 2 A’s for my summer classes then ill prob have a 3.5. And yes, i’m gonna take chem this fall.</p>
