I finished my Associates degree in December 2013, and I didn’t want to not have any classes for whole semester. So I took four classes at a Cal State and one class at my community college this semester. Do you think I would get rescinded since it might make me not look like a community college student anymore?

I’ll still be under the max units for transfer. I’ll transfer with 79 total units. 67 Units from a CCC, and 12 upper division from a CSU.

I already submitted my updates to UCLA, but I’m still waiting to hear?

How did you attend a CSU if you’re a CC student? The cross enrollment program only allows 1 class per fall and spring semester and 1 class per fall and winter/quarter in the UC system. Did you accept your admission to a CSU, take 1 semester, drop out, and apply to a UC as a CC transfer?

Well UCLA let me know yesterday that my admission status is fine.

But basically I applied to a CSU and was accepted for Spring 2014. I took classes there this semester and a class at my CCC. The courses I took at CSU were upper division courses in my major.

I just didn’t want to be sitting around for 9 months taking no classes on the off chance UCLA actually accepted me, so I took the CSU classes. But it’s all good, I will be a Bruin this fall!!
