Can I go/sign up for orientation even if I'm not sure I'm going to USC yet?

I just got the brochure today and I think it’s a good experience, but I am not 100% sure I’ll be going to USC yet. Can I still go/sign up on March 1? Should I wait?

You have to submit your Enrollment Deposit first.

Do you mean one of the Explore sessions for scholarship candidates, and accepted students?

Orientation sessions don’t start till June, after one’s made a decision by May 1st.

Yes, you can attend an Explore session without having made a commitment to attend USC. The purpose of the Explore sessions (in addition to attending the interview for those who are in the running for the Pres/Trustee) are to provide info and tours and the like, so you can determine whether USC is where you want to matriculate.

At orientation, you spend a significant amount of time registering for your classes and it would not make sense if you’re not going to attend USC. Explore, on the other hand, as mentioned above, would be helpful for folks trying to decide whether they REALLY want USC or another U.
