So I got 30 on my Sep ACT

English 32
Reading 28
Science 30
Math 29

Science surprised me in positive way and English in negative way. I was not expecting more than 27-28 on Science was hoping I would get at least 32 in Math. I believe math is my strongest area.

I’m scheduled to take Oct ACT. I’m hoping to get 31 or 32. My worry is, this Science score might have been my best. and it may go down a little.

Can I get 31 and hopefully 32? What are your thoughts?

Of course you can improve. Most people do better on their second sitting.

Should I also test in December ACT? That would give me 3 chances. I’m afraid that Dec score may not reach on time for regular application. What do you guys think?

What about this, let’s say I apply with whichever is the best score between Sep and Oct ACT. If the dec score is high, I can send that later on while the application is being processed. Has anyone done this?

No. It is physically impossible. Once you get a score, you are stuck with that score forever. There is no possible way you could improve your score.

smarty panty

I asked chemically is it possible?

You dont need to send your score at the same time you send your application. You can send the score after you send your application. So yes you can send your Dec Results. Some Universities even take the Feb ACT Result provided it reaches them before their decision date. So i dont think december would be any problem

I went from a 29 to a 34 (and raised my science from a 26 to a 35). Definitely doable, just make sure to practice as much as you can.
