I’m interested in the human biology, health, and society major in Human ecology but I also want to minor in french studies. My minor is only in CAS so would they let me still minor in it even though it isn’t in my college?
You can take almost unlimited classes in the endowed colleges but to get a degree from A & S you have to pay endowed tuition.
You need to look up the distribution requirements for the health & society major within Hum Ec, and then look up how many credits you will need to minor in French studies. Even if you are not able to formally ‘minor’ in a subject, you may be able to take many courses in the major.
Each college has its own core and distribution requirements, both inside its own school and outside. I am not explaining this very well, but you just need to go to the Hum Ec pages and look it up. If unclear, the staff will be more than happy to assist you.
