To get a professional architecture degree from Northeastern one has to get a 5 year bachelor of science and then a 1 year m.arch? Or is it 2 years M.arch??
Is the 6 or 7 years worth it? Could I get the bachelor of science in 4 years?? (I would still like to include the 12 month co-op and I know we spend an obligated semester in Berlin…)

I don’t know if you can fit it into 4 years (I’m starting next year as well), but the M.Arch is only 1 year. Also Northeastern’s M.Arch is accredited by NAAB, but the Bachelor isn’t. The Bachelor of Science is a four year program, but with the co-op and study abroad, it takes five years (including some summer sessions).

It all depends on how many co-ops you do, and how many vacations you’re willing to sacrifice over the summer. 1 co-op is typically 6 months, so if you skip one that is 16+ credits to you. If you skip a summer vacation that can be another 16 credits (1 semester). All depends on your work ethic.

Most people do summer classes even with a 5 year program, depending on how much credit you come into.
