Can I make it as a computer engineer.

My situation is a little unusual. I recently switched from Rutgers pharmacy to computer engineering due my growing dislike for pharmacy. The thing is that I have zero experience with computers or programming and have doubts about my ability to do computer engineering. I know I can do the math since I got an A in calc 1 and 2 this year. I also got an A in all of my general chem and bio classes but those classes aren’t required. Am I in the right major or am I doubting myself too much?

Go take some career interest and career aptitude surveys. You can find them online or at the career center at your college. You might also check out the book What Color Is Your Parachute? There are tons of resources to help you narrow down suitable majors and career paths. Also consider which students and professors you feel most comfortable around – sometimes students find the right major by finding “their people.” Keep in mind that your major does not have to dictate your career, especially if you have any kind of quantitative major. There are many engineers who work in finance jobs, for example.
