<p>Hi, I am a transfer student form a local CC and I am currently attending San Francisco State University. I have 108 units completed thus far (30 units completed at SFSU) and my question is if I can postpone graduation to take more classes.</p>
<p>I recently decided to try to gain admission to med school but I don’t have any med school pre reqs completed yet. I need to take Gen chem 1/2, phys 1/2, Orgo Chem 1/2, Calc 1, and Bio 1/2 which adds up to 44 more units. I want to take these science class at a 4 year university because I heard med school adcoms don’t like pre reqs taken at CC.</p>
<p>This process will add an extra year to my graduation date. Do you think that SFSU will let me postpone graduation to take these classes, or are they gonna try to force me to graduate once I reach a certain amount of units? And for any non science major students who attend California State Schools, are you able to add upper division classes like Orgo Chem 1/2?</p>
