Can I put AP test scores on my common application?

I wanted to take APUSH and AP Spanish junior year, but I didn’t get into either of these classes, leaving me unable to take ANY APs junior year. So I plan to self study APUSH, AP Micro, AP Macro, AP Chinese, AP Stats, and AP Computer Science over junior AND senior year. Since I have no APs junior year, can I still put the scores from the exams that I do self study junior year on my application to try and let colleges know (I want to go to NYU or Columbia) that I am challenging myself?

Yeah, of course. As long as you take the ap test and do well.

Yes, you can do that. However, I believe the scores themselves are not considered as part of your application, only the SAT subject scores are.

Actually, I’ve actually been told by an admissions officer(she’s from a really good school), bc I know her daughter, that AP’s are considered, as a showing that you challenge yourself (when they look at your school report) and when they see a lot of good scores( like a lot a lot!, she said was impressive). AP scores can sometimes offset borderline grades. However, scores are reported voluntarily, without CB’s official stamp.
