As of college admissions, I was wondering if putting my mile time would be okay?
I felt like putting awards from different events would be too vague since every award can have different meanings even though they are the same track event.

what do you mean
Presumably it resulted in an award of some type - an all state ranking perhaps? Otherwise you could embed it within your claim for being on varsity track or cross country unless your time is the kind that would show up on discussion boards at letsrun.com
@shuffle1 What were your ideas on embedding my mile time on being on varsity track?
Your mile time alone may not mean anything to an Admissions Officer, so if you want to state it you should provide some context.
That context could be re: local conference/state/regional/national…e.g. “30th/150 at local conference meet”; “10th/80 at State Open”.
They won’t care about your times/place at every meet you participated in.
The Adcomm might be interested in your level of commitment to your sport. Only a track coach is going to care about your actual times.
Highlight leadership and continued development. I was thinking along the line of “Three year track varsity, co-captain (improved from 6:30 to 5:20 mile).” That is, show the journey as well as the accomplishment within the context of either leadership or an award/recognition.
