<p>I really don’t like orchestra and the teacher dislikes me as well. Will colleges see it as slacking off if I quit my senior year? I will still take a demanding course load, of course (5 APs.)</p>

<p>The colleges aren’t expecting students to make a lifetime commitment to their ECs. High school in particular is a time to explore various interests and find out which ones you may wish to stick with.</p>
<p>As long as you continue to do some kind of ECs, you should be fine.</p>
