Can I Raise My GPA Post-Bac Before Grad SchooL Apps?

Graduate School

I finished undergrad. When I apply to grad school with they look at the certificate program I’m in? The units I’m taking are equivalent to undergrad units and its from UC Berkeley Extension working toward a certificate.

Seems logical for your most recent work to impact your chances more than a poorer remote record- a noticeable improvement will show well. You won’t be averaging the two together presumably- better to showcase the higher gpa.

I’m guessing there will be somewhere on the application to input info about a B.A./B.S. but what about an area to input info about my certificate?

The application might say:

“UNDERGRADUATE GPA ____________”

but will there be a slot like this?

“POST BAC CERTIFICATE GPA ______________”
