When I took the PSAT as a freshman, I received scores of 54(CR), 48(Math), 49(Writing Skills). I wanted to ask whether it is probable to achieve scores over 700 in each section when I take the SAT junior year. I’m currently in my sophomore year in high school and since the new SAT will be published I don’t think I will take the test until March of 2016. If this is a probable goal please let me know, and also tell me if any of you experienced or are experiencing the same thing as me. Also, if you have any tips to raise scores, please share. Thanks!
Well, if I recall correctly, the new SAT will not have a writing section/essay, so you don’t have to worry about that. And there won’t be difficult vocab for the CR, so I think many people may do a lot better on it than if they took the current SAT. This would mean SATS would be less of a factor when applying to colleges.
