Can I realistically expect another jump ...

in my SAT scores. I’ve already taken it twice with the following results:

5/2009
Total: 1870 (Critical Reading 670, Math 580, Writing 620)

10/2009
Total: 2030 (Critical Reading 690, Math 670, Writing 670)

I don’t expect another 160 point jump like I had. However, if I’m unable to get a significant jump (at least 50 points) then I don’t consider it worth retaking. However, I probably should with Notre Dame, Stanford, and Duke being my top choice schools. I have a 31 on the ACT to fall back on, but that isn’t very impressive either.

Overall I’m frustrated with what I perceive as just average test scores for myself; math in particular frustrates me because an A student in AP Calculus BC should breeze through that section.

What do you guys think? Should I retake it?

if you study, it will go up so it all depends on if you are willing to prep for the test 1 more time or not…
