Can I retake a class at another Community College?

Hello,

I am pretty sure I got a D for my Calc 2 class at DVC. I want to move to Foothill College and I was wondering what should I do after I pass Calc 2 there? Will the DVC grade count towards GPA? Do I have to fill any petitions?

I plan to stay at Foothill for at least an year.
