Can I send a thank-you note?

<p>I had an admissions interview today for Wake Forest on campus with an admissions staff member. At the end he gave me his business card, which does have his email on it. Should I send him a short thank-you email? I know that this is a great gesture with alumni interviewers, and I don't know if this should be any different or not.</p>

<p>I think that it would be courteous to write a note or email. You never know when a small thing like this might help down the road.</p>

<p>YES, send a thank-you note or email. Tonight or tomorrow, while you are fresh in the adcom’s mind. Wake is the kind of place where these small courtesies mean a lot.</p>
