<p>I thought the essay I sent in before was alright, and maybe the writing was slightly stronger… but I really think this othero ne it shows my personality and shows who I am…</p>

<p>I was in the exact same situation! I faxed mine to them via guidance counselor today. You need to write a cover letter explaining why you’re sending that new one, and then have a copy of the new essay. And… this has to be in the office BY FRIDAY, so the best/fastest way right now would be to fax it, like tomorrow.</p>
<p>what should i say on the fax? should i put a note on the top? and can i fax it through my dad’s work instead?</p>
<p>and what is duke’s fax #? …will they look at both essays too?</p>
<p>the cover letter is basically the note… you’d write that you would like to submit a new essay… and i guess you could mention that bc of the extended deadline you wrote up the new essay and would like to use that over the old one. i believe they may look at both of them just to compare, but not too sure on that. and yeah, you could fax it through your dad’s, I just didn’t have access to one at home. i don’t have duke’s fax # off the top of my head but it’s probably on their site.</p>
