Can I send in a 3rd LOR?

My physics teacher wrote her LOR quite late and I have already assigned two other LORs to Harvard. Commonapp won’t let me assign the 3rd LOR. But I really want to send in the Physics reco because the teacher knows me very well and also told me that she wrote a very good one. Can I send it in? It might make a difference in my app…

You can send up to I believe 4 letters of recommendation. Additional letters must be sent through snail mail.

I would send it in only if you think it will add something new about you to your application. If the letter is very insightful and provides a unique perspective, then I’d send it. If it essentially covers the same material as your other letters (even if it’s well written) I wouldn’t send it.

It does seem to represent a unique perspective about me. And since I had a genuine interest in physics, she knows a very different side of me…

I guess I’ll send it.
Thanks a lot @penguinito22 and @quillabee93!

I sent in a third one. If you can’t send it through Common App, give your teacher an envelope stamped and addressed to Harvard (and make sure it’s the right department, for example, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions or whichever is appropriate), and ask her to print it out on the official school paper and mail it.
