So I applied Early Action to three schools on November 1st and sent in all of the requirements.
But now I have another letter of rec. I want to send. Should I ask my counsler to send it? Or if I sent in my app already will they not look at something else I send?

I was on the phone this morning with both UNC and Georgetown with a similar question…that is, one teacher rec was never completed & D had to get a 3rd teacher rec to substitute…and both of these were done after the deadlines. Both schools recommended that she tell her teacher to send an email with her name & DOB (so they can look it up on thier system) and simply say that here’s the rec…they gave me email addresses to send it to…

I’ve heard AOs say: “we want to know everything about you that we can, so if you think of something after you apply please send it along.” I think that probably applies more at competitive privates than large publics.

We did this with both my kids.

My son, 2 years ago, had a LOR from his Boy Scout Troopmaster (he is an Eage Scout). We sent it to admissions as an attachment to an email. Most of them replied back saying they would add this to his file.

And this year, we sent an additional LOR for my daughter. Her Accounting I and Economics teacher from last year (she applying for Business and Finance) has retired so he sent her a LOR and we emailed it off to the schools she is applying to.
