<p>My biggest problem is time management especially in the CR section. I focus too much on the passage to find my answers carefully, and I just end up wasting time. I’m just wondering if going right to the passages instead of the sentence completition is a good idea if I want to get rid of the pressure of time management</p>
<p>You could, but you’d probably spend too much time on the passages and run out of time. Besides, SC are the easiest CR questions and should never be left blank.</p>
<p>I took a prep course and they recommended you do that. But I personally didn’t like diving right into the passage, I found it harder to focus. You can do whatever you want on the test, it’s your time.</p>
<p>Yea but make sure you don’t accidentally skip some bubbles on the answer sheet or forget to skip some.</p>
<p>I think that’s risky, especially if you tend to spend a lot of time on the passages. Instead, I would learn to finish the SC faster. If you can get through them in two or three minutes (you should be able to whip right through the first couple), you’ll earn yourself some extra time for the passages.</p>
<p>Do the thing you stuggle time-wise with last.</p>
<p>I always do the longest/most boring passage first, then SC for a comic relief :), then the rest. Bubbling control is paramount.</p>
<p>I would like to point out that the sentence completion section, if you know what you are doing, should not take more than several seconds, on average, for each question. If you don’t know the answer, then skip it. But don’t just go on to the passages. Get some easy points first xD</p>
