<p>I have a 3.79 GPA right now and I’m in the top 20% (16.7%) for reasons outside of my control. Compared to many of my friends who are applying to the same scholarships like the Nordstrom scholarships, this is a HUGE disadvantage!
I have decent extracurriculars and I’m an okay essay writer. I don’t, however, stand out in any significant way.</p>
<p>Considering the fact that the minimum for Nordstrom scholarship is 2.5 i think that’s pretty good. Just pick an essay topic that you can get fired up about and you will be fine. I am also applying for that scholarship and I am in the same boat as u. The one thing i like is that its not just about your grades.</p>
