First of all, I am going to graduate with a BS in Chemistry in 1 year. I want to get into graduate school for an MS in Environmental Engineering concentrating in water. I am not sure if I can get into graduate school with a 2.8 GPA and not taken any courses related to EE. My GPA is low because I didn’t really care much about my GE courses, so I slacked off, but my chemistry classes are good more B’s/A’s, except biochemistry and biology. However, I have done internship at a conservation district for stormwater, watershed, landscape conservation, and aquatic invasive species. I have also worked at a water quality lab for canyon lake and lake Elsinore, and worked in the chemistry stockroom. I haven’t took the GRE yet. If I do well on my GRE can I still get into grad school with a low GPA?
Graduate school might look at your last 2 years of course work GPA and then decide.
