I am in IB and am just wondering if I can get into schools like Cornell or NYU with this GPA. ( I have also had alot of extra cirricular activities and other stuff etc.)

4.37 (Received a C from my MYP Alegbra 2 and MYP Chemistry but have gotten straight As starting 2nd semester of 10th grade)
Unweighted:
3.57
Also, I have heard that some schools such as the UC system don’t even look into Freshmen grades, does that apply to this also?
