Can I still make it?

Hi everyone
Okay,I know that everyone has their chance, but this thing in my mind just keeps me annoyed
So,I’m an international student at Indonesia (aiming for scholarship),on freshmen year, first term.
Assuming 70-80= C ,80-90 = B ,90-100 = A ; My score pretty much are many B’s ,3 C’s , one A.
Can I still make it to be admitted if i made better improvement later ? because I often heard that 1 c makes you rejected :(

Thank you if you want to help my answer
Sorry if my grammar is bad and my thread is somehow wrong on thread’s rules :>

International students face the most difficult challenges in applying to schools like H.

International students with mediocre grades like yours stand zero chance. It’s not one C, it’s one A. You seem to have no understanding whatsoever of what is expected of a viable Harvard applicant.

You need to research different US colleges if that’s your intention. Your initial step is rather faltering.

Harvard is one of (if not the) hardest school to get into in the world. There are plenty of applicants with straight As that are applying. One C won’t get you rejected but only one A will. I wouldn’t say your chances are 0, but your gonna need a really strong hook and some amazing essays maybe you’ll get lucky. But just so you know, I know people will nearly perfect grades, amazing ECs, and pretty much every characteristic of the ideal student and they got rejected.

Unless you also have some other “Wow” factor on your resume, such as concert violinist, recruited athlete, software inventor etc, those scores are too low for Harvard. Given that thousands of international students will be submitting transcripts with all A’s, or mostly A’s with one or two B’s, I think you need to be looking at other schools that would also offer you scholarships: [A+ Schools for B Students | Top National Universities | US News Best Colleges](http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-colleges/rankings/national-universities/a-plus)

Harvard is the most competitive school out there. International students with very high grades have a very slim chance, so in your case, having only 1 A and loads of Bs and Cs it is impossible unless you have the most amazing ECs anyone has ever heard of…
