Can I still continue to receive fafsa and apply for the college promise grant for the upcoming semester if I am in academic probation? I live in California and attend community college. Thanks.
When I Googled, “For the California College Promise Grant, if cumulative GPA falls below 2.0 for two consecutive terms (fall/spring semesters, or fall/winter/spring quarters), you may lose your eligibility for the California College Promise Grant.”
“FAFSA is an application for grants, work-study, and loans. Students need to make satisfactory academic progress in order to continue receiving federal student aid. Each school has a satisfactory academic progress policy for financial aid purposes; to see your school’s, you can check your school’s website or ask someone at the financial aid office.”
I would contact your school’s financial aid office and ask.
