I’m currently in Honors PC, and I have a C average.
For me, math is EXTREMELY difficult; English foreign language, and music are my strengths.
My question, will it really look bad on my application if I take Stats instead of calc?
I want to major in music.

If you are struggling in PreCalculus, then I would recommend taking Stats. Calculus will only be miserable for you if math isn’t your strength. Especially since you want to go into music…if you wanted to going into engineering, for instance, I would recommend Calc. lol And depending on what colleges you plan to apply to, I don’t think it will be that big of a deal.

If you’re applying to really selective schools, I would stick with AP Calculus, since most people at those schools have at least Calculus BC experience.

But if not, I think you’re fine with Stats.

I had As and Bs in honors chem & bio.
However, I am struggling w/physics.
I think I should take stats.
If the other aspects of my application are strong, would it be okay to take stats?
