can i take COGS 101B without upper division standing?

<p>i don’t know if the prereqs on tritonlink would say we need UD standing to take the class or if it should just be common knowledge for all classes 100-something.</p>

<p>Well, since it’s 101B it might require 101A. I don’t know though, look at the course description/pre-requisites. If TritonLink says you need upper-division standing, you probably do. Only exception is if you contact the professor and/or dept and ask for permission, but if it doesn’t say you can get consent from instructor or it says XFR, XSO in the sidebar, then your chances are low.</p>

<p>cogs101b doesnt need cogs101a, ive tripled checked (:
it’s recommended (on course.ucsd.edu) to have taken cogs1
on tritonlink it doesn’t say anything about needing UD standing.</p>

<p>i wasn’t sure if it was to be assumed you’d need UD standing to take a course in the 100’s or not.</p>

<p>i assumed i dont need UD standing, but i thought i’d post here to get the insight and double check.</p>
