I go to a university in Canada and my family recently got approved for the Green Card. I finished my first year here in Canada, but because I’m an international student in Canada, the tuition fee here is really expensive, so I’m going to apply for transfer for some US universities. First, I’m going to take a gap year and apply for transfer this fall, to be entered for Fall 2017.
My question is, if I get accepted to any US university, which I will probably get notified latest by next March, can I take some courses at CC during Winter 2017 or Summer 2017 before starting at a new university? If yes, do I submit the grades for CC courses for transfer credit evaluation before entering US university for Fall 2017? I’m asking because here in Canada, once you get an offer from a university, you cannot take any course from another institution for credit.
