Can i take GN ( natural science ) courses as general education course?

[University Bulletin: Undergraduate Degree Programs: General Education in the Curriculum](http://bulletins.psu.edu/undergrad/generaleducation/generalEd5)

You want to be familiar with the academic bulletins, and the “blue sheet” academic plan for your major, that will help. Generally speaking, GenEd requirements can’t be met by classes that are reqs for your major — Econ majors can’t use Econ 102 for the quantitative (math) gen ed, art majors can’t use their reqs for the GA requirements…

So, if ASTR001 is not a class listed in your AERO major, you should be able to take it for your GN. EVERYONE has GN requirements, regardless of major. That’s why they are “general” . GenEd is the term for the whole group. The groups within GENeds are GN, GA, GS, etc. Those vary slightly between BA and BS degrees. Poke around the link.

One class will affect your sequencing, but in engineering that is a big deal so be careful about tinkering.
