first I’d recommend not accepting advice on matters like this on internet forums. How can you trust the accuracy? Now, with that said, I advise students at PSU.
You indicated that you want to major in AE. I don’t know the requirements, but I’ll go out on a limb and assume you will be taking multiple semesters of physics. Thus, your GN will be fulfilled by your major requirements. You could take the courses above, but they won’t fulfill any requirements for your proposed major.
I am also sure you’d have to take multiple Calculus courses for your major (MATH140 and above) so you will have to take MATH140.
Some friendly advice. I mean no offense. MATH40 is an introductory math class for students who may need extra instruction before calculus. If this is what they recommend, math may not be your strong suit. I think you should seriously evaluate how comfortable you are with math. You will have to complete many challenging courses to complete a major like AE that are very mathematics intensive.
I recommend that you speak with an engineering advisor ASAP
