<p>Does placement testing run until the summer? Also, is their an advantage to taking them now? Is it better to register for classes sooner or does it not make a difference?</p>
<p>There are no infinite amount of spaces a class can have. If a class is full, it is full and you have to wait till someone drops the class so you can join or you get a special permission number. However, precal,calc and expos are classes that are in abundance but these classes fill prerequirements for other classes so the longer you wait the less chance you have to get into certain other courses. For example, precal is a req for bio and chem so the longer it takes for you to get placed into precal, it might hurt you.</p>
