Can I take the SAT and ACT senior year?

HI, I’m a junior and I currently have taken both the sat and the act.
On the act I got a composite of 30
SAT- 1950

Im wondering if I can take them again in senior year if I want to apply to UCs, because I know I can improve.
I can’t make any of the June dates for these two tests, as I won’t be in the state, and will be on a plane on both June 4 (sat) and June 11 (act).

I’m planning on applying to mostly ucs, so will the senior test dates be too late?

technically you can but you will have to ask UCs if they are going to accept the SAT/ACTs scores past the deadline.
Most schools accept do but you need to double check

What are the UC’s regular decision deadlines? All of these test dates are BEFORE traditional RD deadline of January 1, 2017…

ACT 2016 test dates…

September 10, 2016
October 22, 2016
December 10, 2016

SAT 2016 test dates…

October 1, 2016
November 5, 2016
December 3, 2016

You need to have the scores to the UC’s by December. They DO accept scores from the December ACT and SAT exams, but you are cutting it close. You’ve likely heard about some of the scoring problems College Board and ACT have had from time to time. Avoid December testing unless you enjoy the adrenaline rush. You’ll likely have to arrange for reporting before seeing your scores.

ACT is given in Sep, Oct, and Dec, SAT in Oct, Nov and Dec. UCs accept through December tests. You should be able to take both tests and even a couple of subject tests (not required but recommended by some UCs) with that many test dates.

Okay, thank you guys!

Yes, September ACT will be in time for an ED schools. October SAT should also be fine.
