<p>A common application topic asks to describe a person that has influenced you and describe that influence. Is it a bad thing if I talk about a person that had harmed me and has taught me how not to behave? Is it a strange topic?</p>
<p>My essay was about that exact thing. I told about one of my ‘close’ friends who I thought was a really good person until I realized what they were really doing. I wrote about how what they had started doing had affected their friendships, grades, and quality of life. From him, I learned how I should never behave and the consequences of things that might seem minute.</p>
<p>Anyway, not like you really care about what my essay was, but yeah, I think that’s okay!</p>
