Can I transfer from Emerson for International Relations?

Hey everyone,

I’m a freshman at Emerson College majoring in Political Communication. I love it here but I already know that I want a school with a more international focus because I’m interested in potentially studying international relations. The problem is that Emerson is very specialized and I am not sure how well credits will transfer. Also, I want to have a good list of schools so that I have a chance to get into at least one of them.

I’m working hard in my classes and, assuming I do well, here is the list of schools that I’m interested in thus far:

GW

Georgetown

American

BU

Tufts

Northeastern

I fell in LOVE with Georgetown when I visited my friend last year, but my high school gpa wasn’t too stellar (3.1) and my SAT’s were ok (2010), so I’m not sure if Georgetown could ever be an option. I like all of the other schools though and if anyone has any suggestions of good political science and international relations schools on the east, please let me know.

One more thing: should I take the SAT’s again and SAT II’s? What can I do to up my chances for admission somewhere?

Thanks everyone!! I really appreciate any help I can get.

Giving a bump

bump…anyone?
