I’m a current student at the American University, Washington D.C. with about 60 college credits. I’m a first semester Sophomore and I will transfer in the Fall.
I’m applying to Boston University, NYU, Northeastern, Barnard, Emerson, and GWU for Fall transfer. I would like to go into the Communications/Film program for the University I get into. I know that transfer acceptance rates are less selective in comparison to the regular acceptance rate. Do I have a chance with my stats?
High School GPA: 3.8/5.0 (I went to a very competitive high school, it was hard to get A’s)
College GPA: 3.35
ACT: 30
I’m going to send in a resume with a list of publications I wrote for in D.C.
My GPA isn’t great but will the schools that I’m applying to take into account that I already come from a notable/difficult school? And which schools will I most likely get into?
