Freshmen here. I am planning on transferring to Tech next year as a non-pathway offer holder (applied in January 2024 RD round, was waitlisted and then rejected in May 2024). Is it possible for me to apply to summer semester, wait for result (the result comes out before the application deadline for fall semester ends), and decide if i need to apply to the fall semester round?
and also, how hard would it be to transfer as a non-pathway applicant. they only have stats for the number of people who was accepted through the pathway offer, but nowhere specified how many non-pathway applicants got in
I am not sure regular transfers can apply for summer term, but you can certainly contact transfer admissions and ask. Also sign up for the transfer newsletter on this page.
thanks! where can i find the transfer newsletter if you don’t mind pointing it out for me?
Scroll down the page I linked above, you will see a place to sign up for the newsletter.
Georgia Tech accepts transfer students for spring, summer and fall semesters. In order to apply for transfer you must have completed at least 30 undergraduate hours when you apply. How many undergraduate hours will you have at the end of this semester?
