I am about to be a freshman at Tulane and was just curious whether or not it was possible to transfer to UCSB after my freshman year.

You will need 60 units to transfer, and keep in mind that priority goes to instate residents, those in a community college student, or a UC. If you really want to go there, go to a California CC and then transfer, you can TAG (transfer admissions guarentee) with a 3.2 GPA for most majors.

on paper the UC system allows lower-division transfers. The choice of whether to accept them is up to each campus. UCSB does not.

So you will need 60 units to be able to transfer.
