I applied ED/EA to Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina but unfortunately my application was deferred and will be reviewed again with the regular pool applicants. When I applied in November, my GPA was a 2.3. I busted my butt taking extra courses and honors to get my GPA up (there was only so much I could do in the second semester of junior year). The university requires a 2.5 and I now have a 2.53 and I’m taking AP classes this semester. The admissions counselor said that my GPA was the only reason for my deferral. Today I resubmitted a transcript with my updated GPA and I wanted to know what were my chances of getting into WSSU?

@theofrelord The priority deadline isn’t until March 15, so will I know by decision by then? (If they receive my transcript will they go ahead and admit me?) or do I still have to wait until regular pool applicants & if so, is that at the end of March or April? (Asking for a general answer. Checked their website and it’s not on there)
