<p>It’s better to submit an online application because it’s less paper for the admissions officers.</p>

<p>@pandapandaa: I think waiting the Thanksgiving break seems to make sense in terms of timing for reccos…gives your teachers more time to get to know you, but enough time for them to get it done by end of year.</p>
<p>Note that it would be good to give any teachers a heads up that you might be asking them for a recco, though…so they aren’t blindsided by dozens of kids at once at the end of Thanksgiving.</p>
