Can I visit my boyfriend while he is away at college 1-2 weekends per month?

<p>My boyfriend is going away to college and we are looking to stay together. He is staying in the state and we have made it clear that we will see each other through the academic year. He is going to Herkimer Community College near Utica, New York. If you attended/attend, know about this colleges policies, OR COLLEGE POLICIES IN GENERAL can I visit and stay overnight for 1 day in his dorm?</p>

<p>Why is he going away for community college?</p>

<p>It really shouldn’t be a big deal. It’ll mostly be up to his roommate if he has one.</p>

<p>People do that in some locations. In this case “community” means a 2-year program rather than a geographic location.</p>
