<p>As many of the threads are about chances, this one is as well. But, it is not just admission, it is also for merit scholarship criteria. Attending BU has become a personal issue and it is very important to me. Therefore, i am anxious to see what you wonderful readers have to say. Thanks.</p>
<p>These are my statistics. </p>
<p>Applying to BU for fall '08</p>
<p>currently: Ben franklin high school
gpa- 4.2
SAT - 700 critical reading, 710 math, 660 reading (will retake)
ACT- projected score 30-32
SAT2 - will take math2 and spanish</p>
<p>Notable AP courses: Am. Govt AP, Eng III AP, Statistics AP, Physics C Mech. AP, Euro Hist AP, Spanish IV AP, Calc BC AP, Eng IV AP, Psychology AP. </p>
<p>Volunteer/Work experience
-Camp Challenge Counsler - 120 hrs for one week (camp for kids with cancer and their siblings)
-Tulane Gene Therapy Lab - intern work/ self project - 15-20 hrs/week for summer
-Key Club Member - 1+ hr/week
-Peer Assistance Team President - 5+ hrs/week
-Student Council Treasurer - 3-4.5 hrs/week
-Asian Pacific Club Vice President 2+ hrs/week
-Indian Association of new orleans (IANO) youth board member- 2+ hrs/week
-Random volunteer work throughout year- 50 hrs.
-Tennis Team- 9,10,11,12 </p>
<p>Thats it i believe. My goal is to attend BU with the university scholarship. If theres anything i need to work on, the time is now. Please let me know so i can improve whatever i must.
