<p>Are you asking if it is POSSIBLE for you to get a grant from an a source other than the government? Well…many private organizations give scholarships to students for many things. Is that what you mean?</p>

<p>As far as I know, scholarships and grants are the same thing: free money for college.</p>

<p>As a physics teacher I had back in hs used to say… anything is possible, but the odds are not in your favor. If you don’t get the grants from the govt or from the school to which you applied, odds are you will not get any grants.</p>
