Can Merit Aid Received Be Requisite on Time of Acceptance?

I’ve just been accepted to UChi EA. I was wondering whether if by accepting now I decrease my chances of receiving merit aid - that is to say, if I’ve already pledged to attend and put down $500 am I less likely to receive aid because I have already agreed to attend and thus need no further incentives? Thank you!

For sure? Don’t know. I don’t think there is a system in place that drops those who have already accepted the offer, especially since you can renege. But who knows what pyschological impact this has on the decision makers. I’d hold off.

Does UChi usually send merit awards WITH EA acceptances? If not, when would they??

It’s EA. You do not have to commit until May 1. What is the rush? I would wait.
