Can my humanities recommendation come from my AP Studio Art teacher?

My AP Studio Art teacher knows me a lot better than my AP Lang teacher and I was deciding between which to ask for a humanities recommendation. I’m just worried since I don’t know if an art teacher will count for the humanities rec.

As a follow-up, my friend was wondering if her orchestra teacher could work as a humanities rec.

I would have your academic LORs all come from a teacher in a core class (English Math Science SS, Foreign Language). Perhaps the art (or orchestra) teacher could provide a supplemental recommendation.
