My calculated gpa was in the 3.5-3.749 range, which I really can’t see my teachers giving me predicted grades that high. I read on another thread regarding the same scholarship that a student from Europe who got straight As had a calculated gpa way lower than she expected (http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/financial-aid-scholarships/2071577-uofa-the-international-tuition-scholarship-i-got-is-smaller-than-the-website-says-i-shouldve-got.html#latest) , so I was wondering if UA does any “moderation” for internationals to derive the gpa used for scholarship consideration. UA’s CDS lists rigor of high school as “very important”, although that’s for admissions so I don’t know how that factors in here. I’m just trying to figure out if my award amount may be lowered, so I can strategize for the rest of the schools I’m applying to.
