Backstory: I take AP European History with a very hard teacher. My grades aren’t the greatest and I know it. Today I had a scheduled meeting with my AP Euro teacher to discuss my grades his in class per his request. I had an 86 in his class beforehand. When I come in there is already a student taking a test in his classroom. He starts discussing my grades in front of this student which I didn’t mind too much. He then shows me the grades on the computer. He says I’m slacking as he shows my grades and everyone else whose is in the classes’ grades. Judging by the grades I was in the median as I saw several grades lower than mine. He then shows me what my grade would be if he didn’t count the participation grade which drops my grade to a 78. He still hasn’t changed it, while everyone else in my class has a participation grade bumping their average up. Meanwhile, at the meeting, he goes on to my specific grade page and looks at other classes I’m taking and tells me while a student is in the room about my grades. He then berates me about not doing my work (which I’ve done) and my low grades in ALL my classes.
NOTE: I didn’t mean to post this just yet. My question is can my teacher not give me a grade on an assignment while he gives everyone else in the class a grade?

Talk to your parents first and tell them what’s going on so that they aren’t blindsided. Then, have them make an appointment with your GC and find out what he/she thinks about your situation.
Don’t confront the teacher without “evidence” and without other adult support.
Is this assignment mentioned anywhere in your post, OP?
I also have no idea what the commenter above me is talking about re “evidence.”
Should we just respond with random comments?
Sorry if it isn’t mentioned or unclear. My grade was a participation/discussion grade which everyone received. When I was in there I saw him take out the grade. Everyone else’s grade is still there except for mine.
So it sounds like you could ask him if he is aware that he has omitted your participation grade. Maybe he took it out for illustrative purposes and forgot to put it back in.
