I run a hobby page on FB. FB ask me all the time that if I pay 3 dollars I can buy 1000 likes. However since I do not make any money from this hobby, I have never done it as I do not see any advantages.
Does similar deals exist for bloggers too where one can promote their blogs by buying followers?
And admissions officers know this when they read college applications.
@Sportsman88 I was just curious as how students can pull off these feats with their life being so busy with hard course work load.
I take many of the stories on here with a grain of salt and I’m sure ADCOMs do to. The ones I love are starting a business/non-profit while taking 5 APs with X,Y,Z amazing results. The same student denies any adult help in doing so. Of course, the hours required to be successful in all of those things don’t add up.
Yes I have seen that one too, but it is amazing how many outside schoatship applicant resume states those thing, and once college start those businees/nonprofit ventures fold.
Many student raise money for their charities, lot, some of them are genuine and they raise 300 500 dollars etc, Really nice job
But once who raise 5000 or 10000, I start questiong them, question is did one raise 5000 from 5000 people or 5 to 10 people.
