At present I am 4th semester computer science student and my only second semester result had came till date becouse my university takes 8 months to publish result.
My first semester and second semester grades are 3.7 and 3.8. And my high school marks is 66% or 3.4 gpa.
Am i eligible for transfer admission in computer science in fifth semester as international transfer (result wating student) although my results hadn’t come.
I had grades up to second semester only can i apply to fifth semester as i will complete 66 credit next month.
The short answer is “no” but you’ll probably get what you want anyway. US universities are organized a bit differently than universities in most countries.
Suppose you apply for admission as a transfer student and get accepted. Congratulations! You decide to enroll. The registrar will at some point evaluate your transcript for transfer credits. This may happen before or after classes start. You sign up for the classes you want to take. There’s NO dedicated “third semester” or “fifth semester” curriculum you are bound to.
The registrar can initially only evaluate the courses you have grades for, but that’s fine. The remaining courses can be evaluated for transfer credits later. Meanwhile, you can still take the courses you want / need for your major and general education. As long as you eventually fulfill all of the requirements for graduation (either with credits you transferred or credits you earned locally) you’re fine.
Be prepared though that not all of your credits may transfer. Most students lose some credits when they transfer universities.

-----)))Then you want to say that i can transfer the credit of those subjects in which i have got grades(results).
So if i transferred then can i take take the another course of my major from which i can earn credit for my graduation.
After a month i applied, if my results come then will i be able to evaluate my credit again?
I dont know more about the US system but my college provide direct transfer admission facilities to US, Japanese universities although our results doesn’t come at that time. How’s that possible can u plz tell.
[{(Finally i want to say that
You mean i cant get admission directly in 5th semester in US universities but could enrol and study the course of any semester i want for my graduation.]})
Thank you for the information.
That’s correct. You won’t initially be classified as a 5th semester student because your previous coursework cannot transfer without grades; however, you should be able to take upper-level coursework for your major, even if you’re classified as a 2nd or 3rd semester student.
- I said "should be able to" because a few courses with enrollment caps may give registration priority by seniority (measured by number of credits). However, that usually applies to popular lower-level courses and only rarely to advanced courses in a student's major.
We wouldn’t know how your own university’s direct transfer agreement is set up. You’ll have to speak to your university (or the partner universities in the US) about that.
